Plans Announced for Online Presence

The Office of Information today unveiled plans for a new and improved presence on the Vexillium-wide web. The new plan calls for a content-rich primary national portal, which will include a variety of information about the Commonwealth, its rich history, culture, language, society, and people. The improvements also include an official Office of Information news portal, which will be used as the primary news and statement release conduit for all government and intergovernmental agencies.

The third part of the project is perhaps the most ambitious. It is called the Shaelapedia and will act as a national encyclopedia, collecting information on literally hundreds of subjects concerning the Shaelic Commonwealth. The Shaelapedia will be utilized by all departments, offices, and bureaus within the government, and over time, civic groups, organizations, and even individuals may be given access, to allow them to further broaden the information repository.

The completion date for the ambitious project was not revealed at the press conference, but look for the new improvements soon.
